The University for Development Studies (UDS) will hold its 26th Congregation for all Undergraduate and Postgraduate Graduands on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

Venue:  Multi-purpose Auditorium, Tamale Campus.
Time:    9:00 a.m.

Payment of Graduation Fee
All Graduands (Undergraduates and Postgraduates) are required to pay an amount of Four Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS400.00) as Graduation Fee.

However, MBChB graduands will pay an additional amount of One Hundred and Eighty Ghana Cedis (GHC180.00), bringing their Graduation fee to an amount of Five Hundred and Eighty Ghana Cedis (GHS580.00).

All Graduation fees should be paid at any branch of Ghana Commercial Bank, National Investment Bank, Agricultural Development Bank, Access Bank, Stanbic Bank, Ecobank, Zenith Bank and Prudential Bank, before or on November 28, 2025.

Graduands attending the ceremony will be expected to make their own arrangements for transportation, accommodation and meals.

Dress Code
The academic gown should be worn over formal attire. Graduands who do not adhere to this will not be permitted to participate in the Ceremony.

Rehearsals
There will be Rehearsals for all Graduands on Friday, November 28, 2025 at 3:00pm at the Multi-Purpose Auditorium. Attendance is compulsory for Graduands who will be participating in the Graduation Ceremony.

Collection of Gowns
All Graduands will collect academic gowns at the Stores at the Central Administration from Wednesday, November 26 to Friday, November 28, 2025.

Graduands should provide evidence of payment of the graduation fees and their students’ identity cards before the gowns are issued. The gowns should be returned to the stores immediately after the Graduation Ceremony. Failure to do so after one week will attract a penalty of Fifteen Ghana Cedis (GHC15.00) for each additional day of delay.

Collection of Certificates
Graduands will collect their certificates at designated points after the Graduation Ceremony. Graduands should provide evidence of payment of the graduation fees, present original copies of their clearance forms and their students’ identity cards before their certificates will be issued.

NB: Graduands are expected to make full payment of all fees owed the University before their Certificates will be released.
