The management of the University for Development Studies (UDS) is pleased to announce the return of the glorious Men’s Football Team, proud winners of the FISU World Cup!

The world university champions will arrive at the Tamale International Airport at 10:30 AM on Thursday, 9th October, 2025.

We invite all students, alumni, and members of the general public to come out in their numbers to give our heroes a rousing welcome as they return home. Let’s show them the pride of the North!

From the airport, the team will parade the principal streets of Tamale, and end with a victory durbar in their honour on the UDS Dungu Campus at 3:00 PM.

So, come wave your flags to cheer them on!!
