Mr. Mahama Ibrahim Ezekiel and Mr. Issah Alidu received certificates of achievements and 500 cedis each, at a short ceremony held in the FoAFCS Conference Room, at the Silver Jubilee building in Nyankpala campus. 

The awards were handed to the first class graduates by the Head of Department, Dr. Mohammed Mujitaba Dawuda, who was supported by Prof. George Nyarko and other senior members of the Department.

Professors, George Nyarko and Mr. Moomin Abu advised the students to continue to work hard and to make efforts to obtain scholarships for further studies, as they noted that the students have the potential to become horticulture academics in the near future.

On his part, the Head of Department, Dr. Mohammed Mujitaba Dawuda, advised the students to be disciplined and not to let themselves to arrogance. He added that good attitude is key for success and that they should be good and associate with good people at all times.

Dr. Mohammed Mujitaba Dawuda also thanked the lecturers in his department for their relentless efforts in training the students.
